Yesterday afternoon, highly ranked UFC bantamweight Cat Zingano decided to follow in Dana White and Conor McGregor’s footsteps. The 33 year old jiu-jitsu purple belt plucked a Sasha Banks’ Tweet promoting her match at this Sunday’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view (PPV) out of the air and tried to fire up the “mixed martial arts = real; pro wrestling = fake” argument.
A lot of people want the crown, but they're not willing to bleed for it. See you Sunday! #HIAC http://pic.twitter.com/ceVx3WBFha

I'd bleed for it, give me winner if you're down for some realness. #catfight #alphacatzingano @ufc @wwe https://t.co/Z4Dzqw4iI8

Not a bad move from a business perspective. Cat’s on a two-fight losing streak (but does have a TKO win over current champ Amanda Nunes on her resume) and turning a quick Tweet into a bunch of free publicity from angry pro wrestlers and their fans is worth a shot.
Credit to Sasha and the pro graps world, though. They’re learning to stop taking the bait.
