Rumor Roundup (Oct. 26, 2016): Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg, Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte, Randy Orton heel turn, more!

Speculating on the rumors surrounding pro wrestling is a favored pastime of many fans, perhaps second only to actually watching the matches. In this daily column, we take a look at the latest rumors being churned out by the pro wrestling rumor mill.

Important reminder: Rumors are just that -- rumors. None of this has been confirmed as legitimate news or fact, it's just circulating around the pro wrestling rumor mill. Remember, take it all with a grain of salt.

Rumors for the Day:

  • The idea was to announce the Brock Lesnar vs. Goldberg match at Survivor Series on Raw but Vince McMahon calling an early end to Lesnar's segment forced them to wait until the next day.
  • Bryan Alvarez noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that while some in WWE want Sasha Banks vs. Charlotte to main event Hell in a Cell other high up executives don't and it's a real conversation that hasn't been settled.
  • Further, it looks like if that match doesn't go on last it will likely open the pay-per-view.
  • Randy Orton may not actually be joining The Wyatt Family but it looks like a heel turn is planned.
  • Undertaker was in Cleveland for the Cavaliers game apparently because the team asked WWE and the company obliged.
